Mashing, brewing and lautering, as well as the cleaning up, can be done in place without turning the Braumeister (on the Braumeister PLUS). The higher distance allows to easily open the pump for cleaning and to dry it after brewing.
Dripping water, mess or overflow will be collected and can be drained through an opening at the bottom.

The aim of this brewing process is to minimise contact with oxygen during the brewing process, such as mashing, cooling and transferring to the fermentation tank. The dissolved oxygen in the water, wort or beer is an indicator of how well this has been achieved. By minimising the exposure to oxygen, existing flavours in the beer are better preserved and the beer acquires a longer lasting flavour retention and shelf life.
